Donald Trump has a new book penned by his former lawyer Michael Cohen. It was simply titled “Disloyal,” and it contains numerous harsh, brutal claims against the POTUS.
In his book, Cohen, who pleaded guilty to finance violations during Trump’s campaign and admitted lying to Congress, stated that rather than a criminal, he is actually a ‘star witness’ to Donald Trump’s misdeeds, especially in the hush-money conspiracy cases.
It was said that the president can still be charged for this offense once he leaves his post at the White House. Since he calls himself a star witness, Cohen described his book as an important piece of evidence that will prove the POTUS is guilty.
Trump’s alleged inappropriate reaction to seeing Cohen’s teen daughter
One of Michael Cohen’s intriguing claims involves his own daughter, Samantha. He said that when he was still serving as Donald Trump’s lawyer, he witnesses many of his employer’s unbecoming interactions with women, and this includes his then 15-year-old daughter.
He wrote that he was so shocked one time when Trump commented on Samantha’s physical appearance. Cohen said that in 2012 when they were on a trip to Lass Vegas resort, the president told him in a low voice to look over at the tennis courts.
“Look at that piece of ass,” The Hollywood Life quoted Cohen as saying in his book. “I would love a piece of that.”
The disgraced lawyer then told Trump that she is his daughter, but still, the president did not even try to correct himself, which people normally do when in this situation. Instead, Trump told him his teen daughter is hot and later asked Samantha for a kiss on the cheek.
“‘That’s your daughter? When did she get so hot?’” Cohen wrote in the book. “I said nothing, thinking to myself, or should I say allowing myself to think: what a f***ing creep.”
Sleeping with a porn star
One of the most controversial reports about Donald Trump was his alleged affair with porn star Stormy Daniels and Cohen touched on this topic too. He claimed that despite his opposition to the idea, they paid $130,000 to silence Daniels since he is running in the 2016 election.
One reason for paying the adult film actress was because Donald Trump will have to pay Melania Trump a greater amount of money if his extra-marital affair gets out.
Cohen recalled Trump telling him, "It never pays to settle these things, but many, many friends have advised me to pay because If it comes out, I'm not sure how it would play with my supporters. But I bet they'd think it's cool that I slept with a porn star."
White House’s response to Cohen’s new book
The White House issued a statement regarding Michael Cohen's. They called the book fan fiction and said that Donald Trump’s former lawyer is lying.
"Cohen is a disgraced felon and disbarred lawyer, who lied to Congress," BBC News quoted press secretary Kayleigh McEnany as saying in a statement. "He has lost all credibility, and it's unsurprising to see his latest attempt to profit off of lies."
Meanwhile, the tell-all book about Donald Trump was released on Sept. 8. Cohen’s “Disloyal: The True Story of the Former Personal Attorney to President Donald J. Trump” is available in Kindle and hardcover.
