Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shocked the world when they stepped down as senior members of the British Royal Family early this year. The former “Suits” star returned to the United States after staying for a while in Canada.
The duchess also signed a deal with Netflix for a documentary show which led people to think that she is slowly going back to her old profession. And since she is already more of a celebrity than a royal today, there are reports that say Meghan Markle is desperate to be more popular than Kim Kardashian.
Money-obsessed Meghan?
The Life & Style magazine reported that Meghan Markle is hungry for power and money. She is allegedly a jealous woman who is also becoming obsessed with “Keeping Up With the Kardashian” star Kim Kardashian.
Furthermore, it was claimed that Prince Harry’s wife wants fame and since Kim has everything she wanted, Meghan wants to outdo the reality star. Meghan will do anything to surpass the “KUWTK” mainstay and emerge as richer and more powerful than her.
“Meghan is obsessed with earning more money than Kardashian,” the source supposedly told the magazine. “She dreams of becoming a billionaire but even richer than Kardashian.”
The tipster added that Meghan Markle already started her plan to defeat Kim and signing the Netflix deal was the beginning.
“While Meghan was expected to do everything in the name of the monarchy after marrying Harry in 2018, she’s made big plans for herself,” the source said. “The Netflix deal was just the first in a slew of moves to become bigger than Kardashian.”
And it is not just the money, it appears that Meghan Markle also wants to change her looks just like Kim. It was rumored that she is considering cosmetic enhancements like Botox and fillers to look like Kanye West’s wife.
The truth
Gossip Cop checked out the details in this report and concluded that the claims are not true. Firstly, the Netflix deal that was reported to produce a reality show just like “KUWTK,” but will feature the lives of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry is false. While there is a deal, the show is a documentary and not a reality show that will follow the Sussexes every move.
Also, Meghan Markle is not obsessed with Kim Kardashian. GC clarified that there is no truth in the claim that the duchess also wants to look like Kim so she is even getting a Botox. The two women are not close and have a different circle of friends and to say that Prince Harry’s wife is jealous of the reality star is an awful claim coming from Life & Style as there is no way this is true.
