Millions of Americans are turning up for the last day of casting votes for the elections. Among them who voted today was first lady Melania Trump, who voted in Florida.
The first lady cast her vote in the elections today in Palm Beach County in Florida, where she is registered. Melania was seen by local news outlets going to the Morton and Barbara Mandel Recreation Center to cast her vote in person. The first lady was not wearing a mask, but the security around her wore face coverings. Following her vote, Melania stopped to speak with the media that were present and posed for photos.
One reporter asked the first lady why she did not vote with her husband, Donald Trump, earlier. “It’s Election Day, so I wanted to come here to vote today for the Election,” said the first lady, who also said she was “feeling great” prior to her response.
Trump, who is seeking reelection and running against Democratic candidate Joe Biden, already cast his vote early during his visit to Florida. By October 12, Democrats have led Republicans in overall votes on a national scale, but in the following days leading up to the election, more and more Republicans have cast their votes.
Melania previously made her final argument for her husband on Monday at the campaign event in North Carolina. She made a case for her husband again while also blasting the Democrats and Biden, especially on the former vice president’s record of his four decades of being a public servant.
Meanwhile, the Trumps’ marriage remains to be a point of speculation as they are known not to be as affectionate as previous presidents and their spouses. The first lady’s hairstylist has recently shed light on what Melania is really like to her husband in private. Hairdresser Lino Carbosiero revealed that Melania is actually unlike the public persona she puts out.
Carbosiero shared that the White House staff actually like the Trumps and that the first lady actually has a great sense of humor and is quite intelligent. His comments follow former Trump aide Omarosa Manigault Newman claimed that the Trumps have an unusual marriage, and at times, the first lady does not want to be around her husband.
