With the last episode of Roswell, New Mexico season 2 aired June 15, 2020, fans are now focusing on the show's upcoming season 3.
With the coronavirus (CoVid-19) pandemic putting a halt in pretty much everything around the world, and in effect putting all television shows in limbo, fans cannot help but wonder if season 3 is still a possibility.
So far there has been no news that the show's season 3 which was was confirmed by The CW early January this year has been canceled.
Thus, fans can still look forward to that. However, it may premiere much later than its first two seasons because all work has been stopped in all industries last March when the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the coronavirus disease as a pandemic.
According to The Cinemaholic, season 3 was scheduled to start production this July and hopefully, it indeed will because California has already allowed film and TV productions to resume work last June 12.
However, that may be easier said than done because a lot of meetings have to be undergone before filming can actually start. Hopefully, they have got a lead start on those meetings and filming could get underway soon.
So, what's in store for season 3? Basing on the last episode wherein Liz realized she cannot save all and Max facing a big risk of getting exposed, creator Carina MacKenzie confirmed that season 3 will see more complications for Max and Liz's romance.
And, if that is not enough for us to look forward to season 3, then perhaps this revelation from MacKenzie will. The creator said that they will make room for the CoVid-19 pandemic in season 3 so social distancing can be observed. As to how that will roll out, we will have to wait, well, until 2021.
