The election in the U.S. is happening today Nov. 3 and the winner in the presidential race has yet to be announced. But even so, based on a poll organized by the electoral college, Donald Trump will win by landslide against Joe Biden.
The final result of the Democracy Institute poll that was conducted the past weekend revealed that Melania Trump’s husband is a popular choice. Thus, he can actually win in this 2020 US election.
The survey that declared Trump as the winner
UK’s Express reported that the former vice president under Barack Obama’s administration hit a bump in the last days of his campaign. He was slapped with corruption allegations involving his son Hunter and the publication noted that the poll suggested this could have negatively affected his reputation. This may have played a part as to why he failed to win in the survey.
As for Donald Trump, he gained additional two points lead when he visited a hospital with COVID-19 patients just days before the election.
Additionally, Trump was said to be leading by four points which are 49 percent vs. his rival’s 45 percent in key cities including Florida, Pennsylvania, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota. As reported, this means that the POTUS could surely win the electoral college by 326 to 212 votes against his Democrat rival.
Donald Trump is prepared for the results of the election
Meanwhile, the 74-year-old presidential candidate says that he is not nervous because he has already experienced it before. He is also confident that he will keep his position and return to the White House to continue the works he started so far.
As per the USA Today, it seems that Donald Trump wants to recreate his magic win in 2016 by making Grand Rapids, Michigan as his last stop for the final campaign. This was his last stop four years ago as well and he won.
"This was our final night prior to a very, very big victory," the outlet quoted the POTUS as saying before the crowd. "We’re going to have another beautiful victory tomorrow."
In any case, the results of the election are expected to be announced very soon. Perhaps, before this week ends. Will Donald Trump manage to sit in the White House again?
