“Money Heist” season 4 is coming, and this Spanish-language series that was first launched as “La Casa de Papel” will continue to have more seasons due to the overwhelming response that it got from the viewers around the world. The series was originally released in Spain, but it was brought to a wider audience after Netflix bought it.
The drama that was created by Álex Pina started to air on the leading streaming site in 2017, and since then, it raked in millions of followers. No wonder that “Money Heist” season 4 has been renewed.
Season 5 renewal
But while fans are still waiting for the premiere “Money Heist” season 4, fresh news came in, and it will surely make the fans really happy. Film Daily reported that the fifth installment of the drama had been renewed as well, and possibly, season 6 will follow.
This claim of “Money Heist” season 5 renewal was based on the report that appeared on the Spanish paper La Vanguardia. The speculation spread after FormulaTV, a Spanish website, picked up the story and reported it as well.
Based on the claims, the cast and crew are now filming “Money Heist” season 5 since the fourth season has already been filmed and completed. La Vanguardia also quoted the series’ director Jesús Colmenar’s as saying in November last year, “There is going to be a fifth part.”
It was added that a “Money Heist” spinoff is also possible as they are already discussing it. However, Pina refused to comment about season 5 due to confidentiality. He allegedly said that someone knows that there will be a fifth part, and he seemed to have suggested that he is not aware of it yet.
Airdate
In any case, if something is already fully confirmed at this point, it is the “Money Heist” season 4 release date. In December 2019, Netflix published a short teaser, and it included the show’s return date.
It was shown that the gang is coming back on April 3. Fans will now know who survived and who died as the previous season’s finale showed some of the thieves being shot and lying in a pool of blood.
